 | | Judy Atlagh, Co-op Member | We visited this site with my daughter's HeadStart a couple of years ago. We loved it. The tour guide started us with some age-appropriate poems, "The Mask" and "The Seed." The children enjoyed becoming the seed and growing into a beautiful plant.
Inside the house, there was a lot to learn. I loved the furniture and wallpaper, oh, and the picture rail higher up on the wall as an alternative to nails. We all thought the ice chest and delivery system (similar to milk) was neat.
So much history to learn. This makes a great FT on so many fronts: literater, architechure / interior design (now and then), people in history, black history, etc. |
