 | | Laura Dawson, Co-op Member | | We had so much fun at Cypress Gardens. We enjoyed walking along the paths and visiting the butterfly garden. Butterflies flew everywhere. Our favorite part was taking a canoe out into the swamp and rowing among the cypress trees. The path to canoe along is well marked. You canoe under bridges and along smooth waterways among water lilies. The best part was when we saw an alligator sunning himself on a log. As we approached in our canoe, he finally got a little timid and slid off the log and swam away. It was wonderful. After our canoe ride, we were walking along a path and saw small eyes peeking up at us from the water. There were several baby alligators in the water just sitting there. If you like nature, canoeing, animals in the wild, butterflies and other lovely gardens, visit Cypress Springs. It is wonderful! |
