The railroad operates first generation diesel locomotives and 1930s and 1940s vintage passenger cars. Passengers may visit Hale Farm and Village, Quaker Square or the CVNRA Canal Visitors Center by exiting at one of these stops. Discover the valley, 33,000 acres of land that is part of our National Park System. |

 | | Dani E., Co-op Member | | We enjoyed a wonderful half day trip on the scenic railroad. It was great fun! We traveled north from Peninsula and disembarked at the Canal Visitor Center to soak up some history there. We viewed a great film on Canal life and bought two more while there. Then back to the train for the return trip. We enjoyed our lunch while on the rail. It was a drizzly gray day but it was a bright outing for my family. All enjoyed at from me to my 6, 10 and 12 year olds. |
