Facility:Creation Museum
Description:Founded in 1970 under the leadership of Henry M. Morris, along with the Institute for Creation Research, the museum has been providing a Biblical view of earth history for almost 40 years. Upon the Institute's recent move to Dallas, Texas, the museum, along with the building, was sold to Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. Tom Cantor, the founder and owner of Scantibodies Laboratory, along with his wife Cheryl formed a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry called Life and Light Foundation, from which to run the museum. Now owned and operated by the Life and Light Foundation, the museum will remain a show case for a literal six day young earth creation model, as well as expanding the emphasis on the incredible design found in that creation. With plans for future expansion of the museum and resource center, Life and Light Foundation looks forward to serving the Christian community.

A great museum for older students to learn how God created the world and how to defend their faith against the lies of this world and the science thought. Creationist scientist use science to prove God's mighty hand in all things around us. There is A LOT of ready, so its best for older children but with a bit of explanation, younger kids could benefit as well. Highly recommended!

The Creation Museum provides a fun way for children and adults to learn how the world began from a Biblical perspective. The tour guides are so knowledgable and ready to answer your questions, while leading you on a "journey" through creation. The displays and murals are beautiful and allow visitors to "see" the creation story. We particularly enjoyed the Noah's Ark exhibit, which gave us a better understanding of the size of the ark.

Although children who are a bit older will benefit more from this field trip, young children will enjoy it as well. We visited with our homeschool group and the ages ran from toddlers to adults. Our tour guide was able to engage the little ones while providing an informative experience for the rest of us.

I highly recommend a trip to the Creation Museum.

My kids love this museum. My son (12yo) enjoyed reading through all the information and my daughter (8) enjoyed walking through the really cool rooms. She read a little of the info, but I mostly summarized it for her. It took us about an hour to go through and my kids were disappointed that we had to leave.

I would absolutely recommend this museum.
