| Description: | Canada's first costume museum. 35,000 piece collection spans 400 years. Displays in tableaux vivant/living pictures, new exhibitions every two months. Guided tours for groups. Both a Manitoba Star Attraction and Signature Museum. Unique exhibitions address clothing using an historic eye to narrate the evolution of clothing and personal adornment. The Costume Museum also houses an extensive pattern and reference library which meets the diverse needs of researchers and designers alike. |
