| This is a family fun farm that teaches about agriculture and the American family farm. When you first enter the farm for the field trip the gentleman who runs the farm gives a history on farming in the United States, then you go to the corn maize. To navigate through the corn maze you must correctly answer questions about corn. After the corn maize you are free to explore the farm in the order you wish. There is a barn where you can feed several different types of animals, a hay ride that brings you to see and feed the grazing cows, some play equipment for the children to take a break, and several other enjoyable attractions. |

The corn was a bit sparse and short, but the paths were still there and the questions to answer in order to navigate the maze were fun. There is a petting zoo area which was thrilling for the old & young. The shaded lunch area had a 'corn box' instead of sand it had corn - and the kids enjoyed entertaining themselves in that. Also there was a food stand which was reasonably priced and a great little store that had cute country items. The kids enjoyed seeing lots of 'old fashioned' farm tools and being able to see how things used to be done. The owners were very informative and helpful. It was a very enjoyable day! |
