It has a worldwide reputation, largely attributable to the efforts and promotion of director emeritus Jack Hanna. The Columbus Zoo has over 6,000 animals and sees over 1.5 million visitors annually

We live in Columbus and have a membership. I love how the zoo is divided into sections by area of the world, for example North America or Asia Quest. The enclosures are well maintained and are clean. The zoo and aquarium both are clean. There are lots of overpriced stands to choose from or you can pack your lunch and eat at the various tables.
