| Colton Hall Museum |
| Colton Hall is the most important public office building in Monterey County to be in continuous use. In 1849 the delegates for California's Constitutional Convention convened here to pen California's constitution! The meeting hall is still preserved, although the hall has taken on the role of many other public uses since then. The historic jail building is also nearby! |
