Facility:Clara Barton Birthplace Museum
Description:Clara Barton was the founder of the American Red Cross. Guests of this museum enjoy a rich learning experience touring Clara's childhood home. This American treasure, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, preserves Clara Barton's legacy of compassion.
The property is also home to The Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc., a premiere health education institution for children with diabetes and their families.

From June 1st to August 31st, the museum is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In September, the museum is open Saturdays only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tours are also available by appointment.
