 | | SMH, Co-op Member | The Cincinatti Zoo has a wonderful variety of animals from the standard lions, elephants, and giraffes to the not so standard polar bears.
The zoo is large enough that you would have to spend the entire day there in order to see everything.
The terrain is hilly and many trees provide shade.
We packed in our snacks/lunch and did not utilize their concessions, but they seemed to have several different choices in restaurants. |

 | | Sarah of SWFL, Co-op Member | | The Cincinnati Zoo has a lot of great features. I love that at different animal areas there are interactive displays, the one next to the gorillas lets you hear a belch then record your own to play back, lots of laughs. There is a complete display on the enviroment and animals of SWFL. It was the first time I had seen a manatee without scars all over its back. Plus there is a button that plays a recording of manatee flatulence. It took almost an hour before my daughter and I could pull ourselves away. There's also a tram that goes around the whole park, perfect for a break from walking up and down the steep hills. |
