Wow! We have visited this museum several times. There are free days if the price is not affordable for you. There is a new section that was put in all about the body and it is fantastic. There are so many different things to do here! Too many to possibly mention, but definetly check out the website for specifics. The parking does cost money as well as admission, but if you are taking the bus you get dropped off right in front. There is a food court for you to eat at or you can bring a lunch.

Planning to stay the whole day is not out of the question. We have been to traveling exhibits here as well. There was a traveling Star Wars exhibit....wow again! You saw real costumes and movie props. These types of events are at an extra cost on top of admission.

If I had to warn you about one thing it would be that there is a permanent exhibit of the different stages of babies in utero. This was something difficult for me to wrap my head around. While it is very educational my heart was sad to see the fetus' at all of the stages over 9 months right there. I highly recommend the museum. There is a lot to do in Chicago and this is something that your money will be well spent doing.

Enjoy!
