| Chicago Botanic Garden |
| A huge and very beautiful outdoor garden, made up of specialized gardens such as Fruit and Vegetable garden, Japanese garden, English Walled garden, Landscape garden, Bulb garden, Model Railroad garden, Sensory garden (where the kids can touch and smell some very interesting plants), etc. There are classes available, a gift shop, restaurant, and sometimes concerts in the evenings. |

 | | Jolie P, Co-op Member | The Chicago Botanic Gardens is a wonderful field trip for all ages. We frequently come here on nice days just to take a walk in a beautiful setting. My children are fascinated by the Japanese and Confer Gardens. They also learn so much by comparing what changes from month to month.
They also offer wonderful field trips for homeschool groups at all ages. |
