| Description: | Watch archaeologists at work rediscovering the past of South Carolina's birthplace. Visit a natural habitat zoo that is home to animal species that were indigenous to Carolina at the time of the settlement such as Bison, Black Bear, Puma, Elk, Otter and more. Enjoy costumed interpreters and rangers as they recreate settlement life and activities with interactive programming. The Adventure: Climb aboard the Adventure, a 17th-century, replica trading ship that is docked at the park. Listen to stories of how early colonists used the seas for trade, and explore below deck to see how the sailors lived. |
