| Charles A. Lindbergh House |
| Charles Lindbergh's 1927 flight across the Atlantic, from New York to Paris, brought him instant fame and recognition. One hundred years after his birth, and 75 years after the flight that inspired an aviation revolution, exhibits at the Charles A. Lindbergh Historic Site tell the full scope of Lindbergh's life, beginning with his boyhood along the Mississippi in Little Falls, Minnesota. |

 | | Heidi D., Co-op Member | | We have enjoyed each visit that we have made to the Charles Lindbergh home. The visitor's center has Lindbergh family photos, historical information, and hands on activities related to planes that children can enjoy. Each time that we have visited, the tour of his childhood home was led by a knowledgeable and pleasant guide. Across the road from the Charles Lindbergh home is Lindbergh State Park, which is named after Charles father. Our favorite time of year to visit the State Park is in the spring, and it has hiking trails. It is a fairly wooded area along Pike's Creek, so if you visit in the summer bring bug spray. It also has a small playground and picnic area. |
