| "This unit is to help students become aware of the wilderness and what may happen in an unexpected situation. It is designed to teach them useful skills to help them have confidence in what they are doing and in themselves. Students will be taught the basic skills needed to keep a person alive in an emergency situation and how to prepare for circumstances ahead of time." |
