 | | DebL, Co-op Member | Cedar Bog is very unique. You walk on boardwalk in and out of the woods while exploring the different occurrences only found there. The bog is part bog and part fen. They have a rattlesnake there, we didn't see it. We did see 5-lined blue tail skinks. There are plants, turtles and butterflies that live only there.
I gave it 4 stars only because I took my 5 yr old with me and he whined the whole time. I am sure if I had more time to look at the scenery, it would have received 5. Mosquitoes and deer flies were awful, we did take bug spray. Pick a day when it won't be so hot either.
Very accessible for wheelchair and stroller. There are areas to rest too. I would love to go back. |
