 | | Sarah M., Co-op Member | This is a nice place, a good quiet field trip. It's a historic farm, so there are people in costume, a historic farmhouse set up for walkthrough, and animals. It also has a store where you can buy penny candy, but the store was closed on the day I was there (a Monday) so I can't speak to that. One man was using a donkey on a circuit to grind corn, which was interesting to watch, and he was obliging and stopped to show us what he was doing.
There isn't a *lot* to see, and many of the animals you can only see from afar. I wouldn't travel far to see it, but it's an easy, simple field trip, especially for younger children. |
