 | | Caroline C., Co-op Member | We LOVE this place. The name has changed to Carolina Tiger Rescue, but it's still the same great experience.
Rescued tigers and a variety of other animals are housed throughout the preservation in open wire cages. I have never been so close to a tiger in my entire life! You really get a sense of how big they are, and their tremendous power.
The guides are familiar with the tigers and give you a very personal experience when you meet the animals. One of the tigers even seemed to "talk" to our guide.
Be prepared to walk, and the paths are dirt and/or gravel. It's a very rustic place, but absolutely amazing. |

 | | K.B., Co-op Member | The Carolina tiger rescue is an awesome field trip. I have visisted the Rescue with my kids as a group with a non-profit org. One of my kids classmates' birthday parties included a tour of the Tiger rescue and in leu of gifts, he asked everyone to donate to the Tiger rescue. It was a touching experience.
We love the mission of this facility and it is a very rewarding experience. |
