Capron Park Zoo is a great way to spend the day. It is a small zoo but there are lots of unusual animals that you don't normally see at a zoo.

My kids loved watching the sloth bear and the Pygmy Slow Loris. Even though it is a small zoo we stayed all day because my kids were fascinated with the unusual animals.

There is a great playground right outside of the park gates. There are lots of picnic tables and benches where you can eat lunch. The food at the park is kind of gross. I would suggest bringing a picnic lunch if you go.
