Much of the Buffalo Zoo is aging, but they are working to modernize and renovate. The newly-opened rainforest exhibit shows the promise of the Zoo-'s future plans. If you haven't been in a while, go back!

While the Buffalo Zoo is the 3rd oldest zoo in the US it has been updated and has a lot to offer, especially the sea lions and new Rainforest exhibit. The zoo is flat and easy to navigate with a stroller. On a return trip I would head to the Rainforest first before the crowds. The "Beastro" offers a fast-food type lunch menu; packing a picnic lunch might be preferred. Click on the "Daily Schedule" button on their website before heading out to better plan your visit.
