This park on the Buffalo waterfront has a visitor center with model displays and other informational exhibits, an outdoor area with a number of aircraft to view and three post-WWII ships available to board and take self-guided tours.

This is a first class naval museum, good for all ages that can walk without tiring for 1-3 hours.

The self-guided tours, particularly of the submarine, have opened complete access to all area of the ship as well as sectioned or opened engines, auxiliary machinery and weapons so visitors can see inside.

Really worth the trip.
