| Boston Children's Museum |
| Boston Children s Museum exists to help children and families enjoy, understand and become active citizens of the world in which they live. We want children to grow up as successful learners who respect others and the natural world. We encourage imagination, curiosity, investigation, innovation, and play. Central to our philosophy is the belief that meaningful interactions with real objects, direct engagement and enjoyment promote learning. |

 | | Leslie MW, Co-op Member | | While the collection is great fun, I found this a hard place to be with small children. There is a 2 or 3 story climbing area with a staircase surrounding it. The idea is that kids can climb to the next floor while the parents walk up the staircase. The problem is that kids can exit the climbing area at multiple locations on multiple floors and get lost. If your kids are old enough to not get lost, it is a fun place for them to be after a long day of touring in Boston. |

 | | Marie McCourt, Co-op Member | | This is a great place for the whole family. The museum is eco-friendly and completely interactive, allowing children the freedom to move and play, and learn in a very hands-on way! Perfect for the younger crowd, but my pre-teen loved it to. Our favorite spot? The screen you stand in front of that makes it look like butterflies are landing on you. Also, the BCM has a lot of curricula that can be purchased or rented (I believe) for many incredible activities. Our after school program has used them many times. |

 | | Kristina P, Co-op Member | | Boston Children's Museum is our hands down favorite children's museum. We have lived in 13 states and this is the best children's museum we've been to. Take an entire day to explore this amazing museum. There is even a 'tunnel' that traverses three stories for the kids to climb in. A wonderful thing to do in Boston on a rainy or cold day. |
