| Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum |
| Discover a place in Austin dedicated to the passion, perseverance and plain old gumption that define the spirit of the Lone Star State. The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is a remarkable tribute to all the stories of Texas - including yours! With three floors of interactive exhibits, the special effects of the Texas Spirit Theater, and Austin's only IMAX Theatre (frequently screening their signature IMAX film, Texas: The Big Picture), "the Bullock" is a place as bold and innovative as the state whose story it tells. The museum also features fascinating temporary exhibits, live performances, 2-D and 3-D IMAX films, and dynamic programs for all ages. |

 | | Kelly P., Co-op Member | My sister-in-law and I took our boys (grades K, 4th, 5th, 7th)and my 9th grader (who goes to public school) and even my daughter in college. They all loved it. We also bought a membership, which also allows us to go to the Whitey Museum in San Antonio. It was a great deal. We want to go back in the fall when it's not as crowded. It was near the end of the school year, so there were several schools there on field trips.
There were several movies and even an IMAX. There are also many interactive things for the kids to do. The information went well with our Texas history studies. Brought it to life, so to speak. GREAT! |
