| Beachville District Historical Society Museum |
| Visitors can explore an 1850s house, barn, school room and general store at this museum. Exhibits feature the history of the Limestone Quarries and the first recorded baseball game, played in 1838. Permanent exhibits include a First Peoples' display, a music room, a summer kitchen and a toy room. Artifacts range from Beachville's original jail cell to locally found Mastodon bones. The "Agricultural Exhibit" includes a one-man threshing machine and the original Neilson's Dairy delivery sleigh. Bus tours are welcome at the site. |
