This was a wonderful place to visit. Our favorite part was actually the bird section. The Lorakeets would fly around freely and sit on our shoulders. One tried to unbutton my husbands shirt and another tried to remove my earring. We could have spent hours just hanging out with the birds. Lots of fun!
The exhibits were impressive and my children enjoyed the big tanks teeming with various ocean creatures.
Next time we're visiting Long Beach we'll be sure to go again and allow extra time. We only spent about four hours and we could easily have spent all day.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is wonderful for all ages! Be sure to look for the homeschool day in the fall where it is only $6 admission! We love that the kids can touch a lot of the sealife and my son could sit and gaze at the sharks for hours!! The bird area is amazing. This place has a beautiful setup, but can get very crowded at times. Definitely worth a trip!

My children as well as my husband and I love this place. It is always a good experience. A good bit of interactive exhibits, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Every time we go, we have been about 8 times now, my kids find something new to discover. It is not a large aquarium, but has plenty to see in a day. There is also the Pier adjacent to it with harbor tours and the Queen Mary and Scorpion submarine tours are just a free shuttle ride away.

My kids love the Aquarium of the Pacific. We have been here so many times, and they still enjoy and learn something new each time. The aquariums are amazing. They have a really great field trip program, which provides a lot of information on the animals and their habitats. The lorikeet area is really fun, but some kids do get frightened since the birds will land on you if you have nectar for them. It is a wonderful experience to be up so close to the birds and feed them. The shark area is really nice and you can touch the rays. The Aquarium is very accommodating for people with disabilities and has an annual "autism night" for families with children with autism.
