My boys absolutely love the Aerospace Museum! We go at least once a month! If you are a military family, you can enjoy this museum for free all year long. They have a few simulators and a worksheet found by the back door to learn and answer questions about all of the planes. Once a month and on special occasions they have open cockpit day...where you can actually board the planes and explore. The museum is run mostly buy volunteers and are all eager to speak of the planes and their own experiences in the military. The stories are AMAZING! If you have young ones, there is also a fabulous new park right outside the museum as well. It is shaped as a rocket ship and is a blast to explore. There is a tot play area as well and a basketball court. Highly encourage this field trip for all boys! :)
