 | | MB, Co-op Member | We attended the 5 Wits Tomb with middle school boys and early elementary boys. The middle school boys really enjoyed the experience but did not leave with any more information or interest in early Egypt than they came in with. It was purely an adventure...but an exciting and fun one at that. The younger boys (about 7 years old) were very interested in Egypt and that is why they came. However, the intensity of the intro (which was great for older kids and adults) was too much for the younger kids and they knew so much that they got petrified and did not get as much from the experience.
I would say that this is a great adventure or day off from education but is less educational or knowledge building than a fun day out. |
