| About the Sponsor: | Outstanding & Affordable Homeschool Events We believe passionately in the God-given right and responsibility of parents to train and educate their children. As such, we have always homeschooled our three children (Spencer, Sawyer and Annie) – beginning in 1998 as Spencer was entering “first grade.” For many years we felt that there was both a need and an opportunity for a homeschool convention in the Cincinnati area, and in 2006 we launched the Cincinnati Homeschool Convention. (Also known as the MidWest Homeschool Convention in Cincinnati) It has been an amazing journey, and has also been extremely encouraging to see the Cincinnati convention grow to attract thousands of homeschooling families from 25+ states. In 2011 we added conventions in Memphis, TN and Greenville, SC. And, we were excited to add Long Beach, CA and Hartford, CT in 2012. We believe strongly in the importance of home school support groups and organizations, and encourage homeschool families to find a good one and “plug in.” However, we do not have a direct affiliation with any particular home school group or organization. As such, there is no “membership requirement” in any particular homeschool organization to attend our convention…or to receive a discounted admission to any of our conventions. |
