Interesting museum with artifacts located on lower level of theatre; tours conducted by National Park Service free. There is live theatre presented at Ford's Theatre. Special family discounts offered. Most productions are for children age 10 years and above. Open for free self-guided tours from 9 am until 5 pm daily. Please call the National Park Service on site (202.426.6924) to check the schedule before visiting the theatre. There are sometimes unexpected closures for rehearsals or other needs."
