| Description: | At the website, students can learn to create a one-to-three minute video montage depicting their desired future through a combination of compelling words, images and music. By using the TEL.A.VISION tools, a student identifies specific goals; creates a positive affirmation for each goal, stating it as though it has already been achieved; and selects and edits license-free images and music to depict their vision in video format. When you get to the website, read the information for students and the teachers' guide that you can access on the menu. There, you will find video tutorials and a complete FREE downloadable curriculum for 5th grade and up (requires free registration) that includes: 1) Everything Starts with Vision - Explains how you can identify and create your own vision. 2) It's Your Story - This unit provides downloadable forms to create your "Master Dream List" and the content for your Vision Video. 3) Writing Your Script - Learn how to set up your account, turn your dream list into a script, get feedback on your script, and more. 4) Becoming a Producer - Step by step tutorial shows you how to put your script, images and music all together to create a rough draft of your Vision Video. 5) Director's Cut - Learn how to edit and polish your Vision Video. 6) Tutorial Screening & Promoting Videos - Share your Vision Video with others. You'll also discover "Social Rooms" where students, educators and parents can ask questions, share videos and exchange advice.
