| Description: | This site does indeed offer a free, downloadable typing program called "Stamina Typing Tutor" that includes the traditional finger positioning on the keyboard and an alternative method to reduce hand stress. The free program (for both novices and advanced users) includes a user-friendly interface with lessons, progress graphs, virtual keyboard, sounds/music, support for several users, and as described at the website "a small elephant pile of pleasant tidbits." :) When you get to the site you'll see a menu of typing tutorials. Under "Freeware" the first item listed is "Stamina Typing Tutor" which is the program offered at this site. Below it are listed other free typing programs that are rivals of Stamina. The archive includes: *Downloadable Freeware *Free Online Typing Programs *Free Online Typing Speed Tests *Shareware Typing Programs Click on any one and it takes you to a review of the program by the Stamina makers, and so one must assume the review may be biased. However they do provide a good idea of what to expect from any given free typing tutorial along with a direct link to that typing program's website - making it easy for you to try it out for yourself!
