| Description: | All of the materials are designed for use in the classroom, but can be tweaked to suit the un/homeschool environment as well. Since today is "Math Day" at ClickSchooling, this review focuses on the Math section of this website. When you get to the site, you'll see a picture in the center of the screen and a menu bar of subject categories below it. Click on "mathematics" and a new page opens featuring a few of the over 4,000 math lessons and activities linked here. You can click through the index of math resources, page by page, or you can use the menu of keywords in the far right margin. Scroll down the margin until you come to "Keywords" and then click on any one to explore math by topics such as: *Addition *Area *Coins *Counting *Division *Estimation *Fractions *Games *Geometry *Graphing *Manipulatives *Measurement *Money *Multiplication *Puzzles *Subtraction *Word problems *Worksheets ~ and much, much more! You can also simply use the search engine to find what you are looking for. :) Click on any one to access the lessons and activities. Most of the links here are viable, however, I did find some (even a featured website) that led to error messages. The occasional inconvenience of a dead link is insignificant compared to the overall content you will find through the thousands of live links. Overall, this is a terrific resource to bookmark and use when you need some versatility in your lesson plans or enrichment activities to enhance understanding. Don't miss checking out the other subject categories as well. |
