The site was founded by Susan Gamble, a mom who questioned why her third-grade son's reading assignment was peppered with expletives. Upon investigation, she realized there wasn't a reliable resource of reviews on book content - and Facts On Fiction was born. It "empowers parents to be in control of their kids' reading by providing detailed content analysis - not ratings or recommendations."

When you get to the site, simply click on "Take Me To The Books" to get started. A new page opens where you can use the search engine to find the book you want, or click on the book icon to see an index of book review titles. Click on any book title and a new page opens with the publisher's summary and links to detailed reviews (as mentioned above) on what your children are reading.
