The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is one of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian art. But it is more than just an art museum—it is your ticket to Asia. Here, you can travel through 6,000 years of history, trek across seven major regions, and sample the cultures of numerous countries.

Hours:

Tuesday through Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with extended evening hours every Thursday until 9:00 pm. The museum is closed on Mondays, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Admission:

Adults: $12
Seniors 65 and older with ID: $8
College students with ID and youths ages 13 through 17: $7
Children 12 and under and SFUSD students with ID: Free
Asian Art Museum Members always receive free admission.

Thursday evenings after 5 pm: $5
The first Tuesday of every month courtesy of Target Stores is Free to all visitors!
