| Hours: | During the winter season, from mid-October to mid-May, Crazy Horse Memorial's visitor complex is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. After 5 during the winter season, the mountain viewing area at the parking lot is open until dark, and the mountain is lighted for one hour. From mid-May to the Memorial Day weekend, the Crazy Horse Memorial visitor complex opens at 8 a.m. and Laughing Water Restaurant extends dinner service to 7 p.m. The mountain carving is lighted for one hour after dark during this period. From the Memorial Day weekend holiday in late May through mid-October, the Crazy Horse Memorial visitor complex is open from 8 a.m. until dark, when the Legends in Light laser-light show on the mountain carving begins. The restaurant serves dinner until 8 p.m. On weekends from mid-October through mid-June, admission is free with three cans of food per person for the KOTA Care & Share Food Drive. |
