Facility:Alaksa Wildlife Conservation Center
Description:AWCC is dedicated to preserving Alaska's wildlife through public education. AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round and provides spacious enclosures and quality animal care. Animals that cannot be released into the wild are given a permanent home at the center.

Hours: January 2 - February 28 (weekends only): 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (no entry after 4:30 pm)
March 1 - May 14: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (no entry after 5:30 pm)
May 15 - September 13: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (no entry after 7:30 pm)
September 14 - January 1: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (no entry after 4:30 pm)
