Facility:Lake Fort Smith State Park
Description:Lake Ft Smith State Park has a heritage center with many hands-on exhibits like a covered wagon stocked with authentic supplies, a real "prairie" kitchen with dress-up clothes for kids, and water and animal exhibits. There are picnic areas and playgrounds, as well as places to rent paddle-boats. There are marked hiking trails of various lengths and difficulties. This is not a swimming lake, but there is a seasonal pool there.
