Description:The Georgeson Botanical Garden (GBG) is a nationally recognized botanical garden and designed to allow the public to learn about plant culture in the far north. Discover the diversity of native and introduced plants growing under the Midnight Sun. Observe Alaska's world famous giant cabbages. Learn cultivation techniques for some of the world s hardiest plants. Participate in tours. Book a day and time for your school class or daycare to tour the greenhouse or the garden. Observe wildlife, birds, plants insects that live in Alaska's great interior.
