| Coldfoot Camp and the Dalton Highway |
| Coldfoot Camp is located 260 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska, at mile 175 of the Dalton Highway. It provides a natural base for a variety of activities in this remote region of Alaska. In the summer, flight-seeing, hiking, rafting, fishing, and exploring area mining roads are some of the many activities guests can experience from Coldfoot Camp. The winter months bring world-class aurora viewing and opportunities for dog mushing excursions with local mushers. Alaska's Arctic is a region that has long captured the imagination of travelers from around the world. The Gates of the Arctic National Park and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge are two of the more famous "special places" in the surrounding Brooks Range wilderness that can easily be accessed from Coldfoot Camp at Coldfoot, Alaska. |
