| Description: | The museum houses a collection of memorabilia, musical instruments, personal papers and original sheet music. Handy's famous trumpet and his personal piano are just a few of the items on display. Every year around Nov. 16 they have a birthday celebration with free admission, special music event, and serve cake. Each summer there is also a week long music festival in Handy's honor. |
