Facility:Moundville Archaelogical Park
Description:Eight hundred years ago, Moundville was the largest city in North America. The park includes the archaeological site of the village of the Native American dwellers who lived there, a museum for study (temporarily closed for renovation), hiking trails, an Indian village and crafts pavillion, as well as an annual Native American Festival, and facilities for camping. Guided and self-guided tours are available.
