Facility:Redmond Air Center
Description:Activated in 1964, the Redmond Air Center is a hub for Interagency wildland fire suppression, fire management, equipment support, and aviation activities for the Pacific Northwest Region (Oregon and Washington).

The Air Center is home to the Redmond Smokejumper Base, Airtanker Base, Interagency Hotshot Crew, Pacific Northwest Interagency Training Center, Interagency Fire Cache, Regional Aviation Group, and Administrative Services Group.

Group and individual tours are available by calling in advance. Individual tours on a drop-in basis may be accommodated depending on the level of fire activity at the time of request. During fire season (May-September) it is not always possible to have personnel available to conduct tours due to fire activity. The Air Center is located 2 miles east of Redmond on Highway 126.
