Description:

America's first National Monument, Devils Tower abrubtly rises 1267 feet above the Belle Fourche River. This 1347 acre park is covered with pine forests, woodlands, and grasslands. Deer, prairie dogs, and other wildlife are seen.

Hours:

Devils Tower National Monument is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The visitor center is open April 9-November 30, 2008. May 24-Aug 31 the visitor center is open every day from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Other visitor center hours vary, see website.
