Description:This memorial is part of The National Parks Service. Activites include Auto Touring, Bird Watching, Caving, Hiking, picnicking, Horseback Riding, Nature Walks, and Wildlife Viewing. There is a visitors center with information about Coronado's expedition. The website has curriculums helps and both a teachers guide and student workbook.

Children can become Junior Rangers by learning about the memorial and Coronado and filling in a workbook. They receive a special patch. Cubscouts can also earn a special patch but must wear uniform shirt.
