| The Latimer House, built in 1852 by local merchant Zebulon Latimer, has housed the Historical Society since 1963 and is currently open to the public as a house museum exemplary of upper-class life in Wilmington during the Victorian period. |

The house is open for tours Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

| Guided tours of the Latimer House interpreted by trained docents are available for $8 per person. Members may tour on their own for free, or with a docent for half price. |
