| Kentucky Reptile Zoo |
The Kentucky Reptile Zoo has one of the finest venomous snake collections in the state. Infamous creatures such as spitting cobras, mambas, rattlesnakes, vipers, and adders are displayed as well as some favorite non-venomous reptiles including anacondas, alligators, pythons, and turtles can also be found on exhibit.
The zoo's staff provides educational talks three times daily using live reptiles. Also, beginning in the year 2000, a daily venom extraction show will be given by the director. A gift shop offering a variety of reptilian-themed souvenirs is also available. |
