Description:Operated by the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism! The oldest house in Connecticut and the oldest stone dwelling in New England (1639), featuring rare 17th to 19th century furnishings, as well as a variety of exhibits, a visitor center, museum shop, research library and landscaped grounds. The Henry Whitfield State Museum is a National Historic Landmark.
