| The Jefferson County Historical Museum has 14,000 sq. ft. of exhibitions on the pre-electric and early electric era, the history of Jefferson County and early photography. Local inventors, including Philo T. Farnsworth, the inventor of television, are also profiled. The first television tube, Indian artifacts and animal trophies are on display. It also features local writers such as Vardis Fisher, who wrote Mountain Man, which was made into a movie called Jerimiah Johnson, with Robert Redford. |
