| The Children's Museum |
| The largest children's museum in Connecticut includes a planetarium, the largest wildlife sanctuary in the state, star shows, computer lab, kids corner, turtle town, a huge walk-in kaleidoscope, and various science-related hands-on permanent exhibitions. Traveling exhibits change during the year. A full-size walk-in concrete model of a Sperm Whale -- the state animal -- greets visitors. |
