Description:The historic Avery-Downer house was built in 1842 and is a classic example of the temple form of the Greek Revival style. Eleven rooms are furnished with 18th and 19th century American, European and Asian antiques including furniture, paintings, sculpture, Oriental carpets, musical instruments, clocks, silver, china and crystal chandeliers.
